Nelson Mandela remains, in perpetuity, the edification at the cutting edge of our historical consciousness. That the fifth local government elections went successfully, demonstrates his country's commitment to the ideals he bequeathed for emulation in securing the future that he wanted for humanity. Much that is written about him greatly assists in keeping his legacy alive. I picked up the book, Good Morning, Mr Mandela – authored by his personal assistant Zelda la Grange – to indulge my nostalgia as I relish in the fact that democracy in South Africa is still on course following the 3 August 2016 local government elections. I just had to read this memoir to refresh my memory of this collosus who graced humanity with his magnanimity.
