There is no doubt about the fact that the African National Congress has sought to espouse societal political issues since its establishment in 1912 (as the South African Native National Congress). This kind of elevation was essentially demonstrated during the colonial and apartheid years (1948-1994), with the culmination of the release of political prisoners during the 1990s and the first democratic general elections. There is no doubt about the immense contribution that this illustrious movement of our forefathers has made to improve the conditions of South Africa
