In the 2018 edition of the Journal of Public Administration (Volume 53, Number 2, page 142-154), Stephen G Bwengye's article was published with a minor typographical error in the title: 'Monitoring the role of local governments in implementing decentralisation policy reforms: An international perspective'. The correct title is, 'Monitoring role of local governments in implementing decentralisation policy reforms: An international perspective'. The two are totally different. The article addresses the monitoring role of local government, not monitoring the role of local government. The change has been effected in the electronic copy of the Journal.
