Climate change not only affects the social and economic activities of each country, it interferes with the whole sphere of life. It continues to be a threat to the development efforts of all countries in the world, thus contributing to derailing the achievement of the sustainable development goals. There are complex combinations of socio-economic, political, and environmental factors that act and interact to influence communities' vulnerability to climate change. Climate change can be defined as the shift in climate patterns mainly caused by greenhouse gas emissions from natural systems and human activities (Fawzy, Osman, Doran & Rooney, 2020).
