During the 2007 Annual Conference, Professor Chris Thornhill was awarded the ASSADPAM Laudation for his selfless dedication to the discipline of Public Administration and Management. Professor Thornhill has served academia for more than 40 years and has been at the forefront of discipline development since 1967. He is still very active as lecturer, researcher and supervisor for a number of universities within South Africa. He is the Editor of the Journal of Public Administration.
